Compounds & Documentation
A Certificate of Analysis is a document issued by an independent, accredited third-party laboratory confirming the identity, purity, and potency of a compound. Every Pepform compound is independently tested by BTLabs or Janoshik Analytical before dispatch. COAs confirm HPLC purity, potency within specification, FTIR identity, and batch details. You can request the COA for any specific batch by emailing support@pepform.co.uk.
Lyophilisation (freeze-drying) is a process that removes water from a compound under vacuum while frozen, producing a stable dry powder. This dramatically extends shelf life compared to liquid forms and preserves molecular integrity. All Pepform compounds are supplied as lyophilised powder unless otherwise stated.
Lyophilised compounds should be stored at −20 °C for long-term stability (up to 24 months), or at 4 °C for short-term laboratory use. Keep compounds desiccated and protected from light. Avoid repeated temperature cycling. Full storage specifications are listed on each product page under the Storage tab.
All Pepform compounds are independently tested to ≥ 99% HPLC purity, with most batches achieving 99.7–99.8%. Each compound's product page lists the specific purity result and links to the relevant third-party COA.
Yes. COA documents for many compounds are linked directly from the product page under the Documentation tab. For batch-specific COAs not yet published, email support@pepform.co.uk with the compound name and we will provide the relevant documentation.
We use BTLabs (West Palm Beach, USA — USP-standard HPLC, FTIR, potency) and Janoshik Analytical (EU-based — mass spectrometry and HPLC purity). Both are well-regarded independent testing facilities within the research community. QR codes on BTLabs COAs link directly to verifiable test results.
Legal & Compliance
Most research peptides — including BPC-157, GHK-Cu, TB-500, and others in our range — are not scheduled under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and are legal to purchase and possess for legitimate research purposes. They are not controlled substances. Selling these compounds for human consumption would constitute supply of an unlicensed medicine under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 — which is why Pepform supplies for research use only. See our full legal guide: Are Peptides Legal in the UK?
Pepform compounds are available to qualified researchers, laboratory professionals, and research institutions who will use the materials for in-vitro research purposes. By placing an order, customers confirm they are 18 or over and that products will be used solely for research, not human or veterinary use.
We will not fulfil your order. Pepform compounds are strictly for laboratory research use only. Any indication of intended personal use will result in order cancellation. This is not discretionary — it is a legal requirement for us to operate in compliance with UK law.
No. Pepform does not provide administration or protocol information for human use. Our product documentation covers molecular weight, purity, sequence, storage conditions, and research applications only. Any such information appearing elsewhere on the internet is not endorsed by Pepform and does not constitute advice from us.
Pepform compounds are supplied as research-grade laboratory reagents, not as licensed medicines. They do not hold a Marketing Authorisation from the MHRA. As research-use-only materials, they fall outside the scope of the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 — provided they are not sold or used for human consumption, which we strictly enforce.
Returns & Support
Due to the research-grade nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns on compounds once dispatched unless the product is demonstrably defective or incorrectly supplied. If you believe you have received an incorrect or defective product, contact us within 48 hours of receipt at support@pepform.co.uk with your order details and we will resolve the matter promptly.
Email us at support@pepform.co.uk. We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day. For urgent matters, mark your subject line accordingly.
Research Use Only. All compounds supplied by Pepform are strictly for in-vitro laboratory and research purposes. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, therapeutic application, or bodily introduction. By purchasing from Pepform, customers confirm compliance with these terms.
